Registration of subsurface targets by short-range radar

International school for young researchers Registration of subsurface targets by short-range radar focuses on the development of fundamental and applied methods in subsurface radiolocation that can be used for solving various problems in civil engineering and geology, non-destructive testing, ensuring the safety of specially protected sites, assisting the elimination of man-made accidents, countering terrorism, and others.

The school aims at determining the main promising areas and formalizing scientific and applied problems related to the development of theoretical and engineering foundations of subsurface radars, as well as consolidating efforts of young scientists, postgraduate students, engineers and experts who are interested in methods, tools, technologies, signal processing systems in the subsurface radars.

Within the framework of the International school for young researchers, plenary presentations by famous world-class scientists will be organized, as well as oral and poster presentations by young scientists about various aspects of the development of scientific and technical subsurface radiolocation bases. In addition, as a part of the school, master classes and round tables for discussing common problems of the development of this research field will be held.

International school for young researchers: Registration of subsurface targets by short-range radar is supported by the Russian Science Foundation within the framework of the project # 15‑19‑30012 Development of new methods of acquiring, processing, and visualizing radar signals and images in surface-penetrating multistatic radar.

The working languages of School are Russian and English.
